Who we are

A grassroots movement for dignity, resilience and opportunity.

"Bringing communities together and empowering them — raising the underprivileged from grass to grace."

Community Empowerment Network Centre Cameroon (CENC-Cam) is a legally registered, non-profit, non-governmental, apolitical volunteer charity founded in 2009 and legalised in September 2010. From our headquarters in Bamenda I Sub Division, we deliver integrated development programs that tackle poverty, food insecurity, gender inequality and climate vulnerability.

We design solutions with communities — participatory, locally owned, and built to last well beyond any single project cycle.

  • Stronger record-keeping, planning and market linkages

Women rising

From dependence to ownership

Through entrepreneurship and vocational training, more than 3,000 vulnerable women — including internally displaced women — gained skills in agribusiness, small trade and value addition.

"Before the training, I depended entirely on my husband. Today, I run my own business and support my children's education."
